Festive appetizers with these shrimp skewers marinated in curry, olive oil and lemon, served with diced mango. An easy and quick delicacy to prepare.
Today I suggest you continue my series of ultra-simple appetizers that can be prepared in no time but which are either an explosion of flavors or have a wow effect that will definitely please your guests.
So after the ham rolls with Boursin, the mushrooms with cream cheese and other ultra festive sun tarts… I declined the shrimp that I make on toast with avocado, a perfect recipe for a brunch or a lunch on the go.
The idea is very simple: we buy precooked shrimp. You can also make them yourself by frying them for example with garlic, it’s better but it takes longer and you have to make sure you find very fresh shrimp, take the time to peel them, cook them…

Here we want to give our shrimp a nice taste. I chose curry but you can choose other spices.
To flavor the shrimp well, mix the curry with a little lemon juice and olive oil. We mix them beforehand and when the curry powder is well dissolved, we add the shrimp.
Leave to marinate for an hour: long enough to flavor but not too much, you don’t want the lemon juice to overcook the shrimp and make it tough.
During the marinade, we peel and on cut the mango into cubes.
And then nothing complicated: we take toothpicks or other small peaks and we skewer a shrimp and a piece of mango.
