Endives, apples, cheese and nuts. A very classic mixed salad but which always pleases and which can be varied as desired.

A great classic for us French, but which pleases my English-speaking readers, I am therefore giving you the recipe for this easy salad, quick to prepare and healthy.

Although often offered as a starter, this dish served on a beautiful hearty plate is a complete dish in itself:

  • Endives for vegetables
  • Cheese (here Comté but it can be replaced by blue cheese for example) for protein. We could also add ham.
  • Pieces of apples for freshness
  • Nuts rich in omega 3 and vitamin E whose health benefits are no longer to be praised.

Have fun varying the cheeses, dried fruits and nuts. As well as the mustards, vinegars and oils making up the vinaigrette, depending on what you have or your tastes.
